Did the 4 hour Red Rock Canyon trip in late December, and it was a lot of fun. The GoCar itself was fun to use, but if you have only ever driven a car, it does require some care when turning and accelerating at the same time from a dead stop. No power steering here! Despite temperatures being low, the heated seats in the front and back, along with grip warmers were sufficient. (Make sure the person in the back is wearing warm socks!) A couple of things to note- 1. It takes about 85 or so total minutes of street driving to get to and back from Red Rock Canyon, and another 25 minutes of riding within Red Rock Canyon. That leaves you around 2 hours 10 minutes to “ooh and ahh”. You don’t have a huge amount of time in Red Rock Canyon itself- We had enough time to leisurely explore the visitors center, and a mini hike at one spot along the Canyon road, and another stop for some pictures, but that was it. If your focus is on really getting into Red Rock Canyon, this is not for you. 2. For those who are concerned about the GoCar itself, there is a training video, and the controls are straightforward. The thing that takes some getting used to is really digging in and manhandling the handlebars to execute sharp turns at slow speeds, especially in the parking lots along the Red Rock drive. Fortunately, you can often go to a secluded area of the parking lot to practice and to minimize the risk of bumping into another car while backing out and turning. As for the course itself a once you get out of the city, the drive is exhilarating. Getting out of the city is also pretty easy- from the rental office, It’s essentially a straight shot there and back- I believe you only need to turn 6 times for the whole circuit. 3. If you drive a car to the rental location, be aware you have to park on the street (metered parking). The area around the rental office looks a little sketchy, so you probably shouldn’t leave anything visible in your car or backseat to avoid the risk of a smash and grab. Have fun!

Got the Mob museum/Vegas history narrated 2hr tour + entry to the museum. So fun!! The "cars" are cool and easy to drive. The trip is mapped.. even if you miss a turn or 4... like we did it will stop, then pick back up when you're back on track. Great price working directly with the company. We had to call and Cassandra helped make it very easy. If it's not summer be prepared for a somewhat chilly ride depending on time of day. And naturally, you're on a trike, it gets windy. My hood was very useful.

My husband and I took the Las Vegas 4 hour, Red Rock Tour. We really enjoyed driving the GoCar. It kept up with traffic and held its charge the entire time. They provided us with bottled water which was a great perk, because you definitely need water if you’re going to hike to see the views. Red Rock is a spectacular sight. Definitely recommend taking a drive out to the dessert. It is a totally different and unique view of Las Vegas.

Absolutely Amazing Experience — Red Rock Canyon Tour! We had such an incredible time on the 4-hour GoCar Tour of Red Rock Canyon! From start to finish, the experience was fun, scenic, and unforgettable. Our GoCar was easy to drive, and the GPS-guided tour made exploring the park effortless and exciting. A huge shoutout to JP, who was beyond amazing — so knowledgeable about the electric vehicles and genuinely kind and patient, even though we ran late both at the start and finish of our tour (oops!). He made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The scenery at Red Rock Canyon is indescribable — breathtaking views, awesome hiking trails, and endless photo opportunities. We especially loved the Calico Tanks hike — if you go, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy it at the top while catching your breath and soaking in the panoramic view of the Las Vegas valley. Our only regret? Not booking the 8-hour tour instead! Four hours flew by, and we easily could have spent the whole day exploring. We didn’t have any issues with our car or the route, but we learned that booking directly through GoCar Tours gives you even more flexibility if something comes up — they can’t issue refunds through third-party sites for money they never received. All in all, this experience was absolutely worth every penny. We’ll definitely be back to do the Red Rock Canyon tour again and can’t wait to try another GoCar adventure on our next Vegas trip!
