There are definitely better gyms to go to, considering the price point. The saunas are a battle as they often don’t work without any heads up in the app or site. The pool is permanently closed for treatment (6 months without me ever seeing it open). The contracts are absolute and cancelling for any reason at all is difficult. Competitors in Calgary offer much more and newer equipment for the same price point you get here. As a positive I do find the staff to be fairly friendly and helpful.

Very great staff member at the front desk. Clean gym lots of machine. Staff are always welcoming specially rashid. I was new to working out and rashes saw me doing the an exercise wrong and quickly reached out to me and helped me fix my form.

Alex at Gold’s Gym is an absolute menace—in the best way possible. 😂 Super knowledgeable, insanely motivating, and somehow manages to roast you and fix your form at the same time!!!! He is the man I came and tried it out for a couple days. And I can’t imagine myself going anywhere else he made it feel like home!

Have had a great experience with this Golds. The front desk staff are always welcoming and helpful, especially Cadence, who took the time to walk me through the new app. Really appreciated her patience and support. Solid atmosphere and friendly staff overall.

He genuinely cares about me and has gone above and beyond to help me stay consistent with my gym routine.
