A company that leads the world in AI technology, still manages to get one thing right thankfully. Customer service is still a necessity in life, always has been, and will always be. My Pixel 9 Pro XL was affected by the green line and the screen was black, making it impossible to use my phone. Thankfully a live Google store is available in Boston, with helpful and professionally competent staff. The technician that serviced my phone named Wednesday, was confident and assured me that he would resolve the issue. I'm so greatful for his help in fixing my phone and it looks and works amazing. Thank you Google, for hiring the best and brightest technicians. Please give recognition to Wednesday for his talent and very professional demeanour.
Went there on Saturday evening to check out a tab for my youngest son. Exceptional service from the staff at this store. I'll definitely come back here when I need anything else from Google products. Currently Pixel 9Pro user and very happy with my phone.
I came 20 minutes late for my 2:00 appointment to get my pixel 7a battery replaced. Traffic was pretty bad. The employees had me sit and wait for a few, before discussing the issue, putting my phone into repair mode, and sending it to the back. The customer service itself was great, the people were kind. The issue was that they said it would take approximately two hours (and they would give us a call/text). We enjoyed Boston for a bit but came back inside early to enjoy the heat, and to try and wait out the rest of the repair. There was about four people standing in a circle staring at us. The same (one) guy three times came over to check if it was done. (Thanks, man) He investigated and informed us there was a "delay" from the first phone and it would be done "before we close at 7" (it was approximately 4:30) While, It must have not been a busy day or something, the four to five employees did not do anything aside from chat it up the entire time, stand in a circle, and plug a phone back in after it had been touched. With this much standing around from the staff, you'd think things were getting done. I walked past the store at 6:35pm and looked through the glass to see not one but like four employees visibly looking down at their phone, not a single one doing anything productive. I had brought another person with me and the employee had collected his contact information for the sole purpose of letting me know my phone would be done. Long story short I waited over four hours for a battery replacement (and they never thought to call us with that phone number we gave) only for when I come back to see every employee looking at their cell phone clearly from down the street. I wonder what caused this huge delay with so many people standing around 🤔
Just found out about the Google Store today and I went there with my Google Pixel 7. The Google product I want to get the most would have to be the Google Nest security camera. For $15 a month you can have 60 days of video which is really useful and I am going to get one for my mom. I looked at the other Google Pixels my question is why they are trying to look like an iPhone. I like plastic casings on cell phones I have had in the past. The Google Pixel 9 s fold in half. I don't have much use for a tablet maybe for drawing. Chris is super helpful at finding out product information and used Gemini to ask about GPS tags to locate dogs. The current locator tags have a range of 300 feet unless uses a network of tags within range to find if beyond 300 from the Android. I also found out what the Google Home app is for. I like the circular shape of Google watches compared to Apple 🍏 watches.
Surprised to find this Google Store. I have mostly Apple devices and have spent time in an Apple Store, so I was intrigued. It felt a bit similar to an Apple Store, but not nearly as expansive, or impressively designed. Staff were friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a couple of promo apparel items; cap and socks. They will make nice gifts for other family members.
