Food was 20 out of 10. Service 20 out of 10. Vibe 20 out of 10. Love everything about this place. Except for those sand paper napkins. Please change those. Other than that. Best lamb chops I've ever had. Drink was not lacking with the alcohol I had the white gummy bear 😋. Those egg rolls, my goodness. First time having Cajun egg rolls and I loved them. Will be back next time I'm in Houston. 😋 Waitress was a very nice young lady.
Gotti’s came through with the cozy, cool, laid-back vibe. The place is quaint in the best way — intimate without feeling small. I do wish they had a full bar, but sitting at the service bar worked out because we got front-row seats to the action. They had Tuesday specials, so we grabbed Espolòn Blanco shots — one with salt, one with sugar. Their blue-colored salt threw me off at first because usually the sugar gets the color treatment, but Gotti’s said, “We’ll do it our way.” Shoutout to the team for the smooth service: Angela, the manager making sure everything ran tight Daphne, the red-haired mixologist who made our shots Zoe, bun high and checkout clean They were ready to hand us those shots before I was even done talking.
We came 6 deep from Vegas for a birthday weekend we had so much fun. It was a perfect environment for our first night/turn up. Brandon was our waiter. He was official he didn’t mess nothing up. He was so kind professional and still fun I had the lamb Loki pops with Cajun rice & asparagus they were Fire, my girl had a pasta. It was real good also. The rest of the party had a bunch of different stuff that we had no complaints.!! The drinks were good as well if you’re in Houston pull up you Won’t regret it. * If I had a one Suggestion, it would be to give more than four asparagus spears for the side at least make it a cool six to fill the lil up.
First thing is first, make a reservation before coming and try to come at the time they open in the morning rather than later so you don't have to worry about the rush that comes between noon-1pm. They open at 11am. I loved the bingo in between music and the DJ really had us rocking. There's plenty of free street parking in the area on Sundays. Overall the service was fine but they took quite a while just to bring our food and we were the first ones there. Our server was nice but when it got busy he did not come around and I had to flag someone to get him. Now let's get into the food: Catfish - 5/5 Steak - 3/5: great flavor but thin & a little fatty Red velvet waffles - 4/5 Eggs - 5/5 Biscuits - 5/5 Beignet Doughnuts - 5/5 Gumbo 5/5: I just wish there was more protein, there was one sausage in my bowl.
Had high hopes after reading reviews. The cat food fish/ shrimp poor boy was great as well as the cheese fries. Service was poor at best. Slow to serve and The delivery was steady, though it lacked some of the spark or engagement that could make it more memorable. I wouldn’t return or recommend to others. Our server didn’t seem to had much care. They also take out 20% at the top they take a 8% service fee and then 12% for gratuity server and then ask for more tip on top at the end of what’s already factored into the bill. For the level of service that was absolutely unnecessary. A lot of construction going on around the area to it’s inconvenient to find parking. Prices seemed on the higher side.
