They provide a great 10 day free trial period. And even in my first session, they made me feel included. Everything seemed to be easy to learn as they give you special attention because you’re new. Though you’re practising very effective techniques, you feel safe practising doing it on the other person as it is a very controlled and safe environment. You’re always accompanied by a supervisor who is looking over you if not training you themselves. It was a great experience joining Gracie jiu jitsu.

Love it here. They not only teach Jiu-Jitsu but they also talk about important issues like consent. Its helping to build my daughters confidence.

Great first Jiu-Jitsu experience for my 6-year-old! The instructors and staff were friendly, patient, and amazing with kids. The class was fun, safe, and easy to follow, which made my child feel comfortable and excited. The instructors explained the techniques clearly and focused on safety, discipline, and confidence while still keeping it playful. Overall, it was a positive and enjoyable first experience, and my child left smiling and proud. Highly recommend for young beginners!

The Good: Great instructors, good students, good atmosphere, branch access across the world. Very welcoming for those who might feel intimidated by other martial arts gyms. The "Bad": Be aware of costs, monthly costs, uniform, belt tests, etc. Its not unreasonable but just budget accordingly. GJJ is more flexible on freezing/cancelling memberships than other marital arts gyms. Mike, the owner, is a good guy so talk with him with any concerns. The neutral: No sparring at the beginning but comes after two stripes or prior experience they will work something out with you. Structured system of learning. Online videos to learn. Overall: Good experience, especially while travelling for work. I had an injury and needed to stop GJJ, body and the risk of accident is too great until I am 100%. Worth checking out.

I have just completed my 10-day trial and will be continuing onward with the Women Empowered program. The program holds true to its name. I truly felt thrilled and empowered after my very first class. I have been so impressed by the positive and welcoming learning environment they have fostered. I could tell the first class was going to be enjoyable before I began, as the other women were excited to get started. This is not a learning space where you’ll be yelled at for making a mistake. Everyone wants you to feel successful, instructors and students alike. The instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, clear, and make a point of connecting with you. I think their ability to connect is the key to their success. The program is designed in such a way that you will find success even on your first day. There is always something new to take away. I am not a 5-star flinger, so I mean what I say.
