My mother was recently falsely accused of a crime, at 76 years old. Scottsdale prosecutor insisted on charging her even though it was obvious she never intentionally did any wrong doing and was only following police officers directions. She has never committed any crimes. We hired John Oyas at Grand Canyon Law group and immediately felt the compassion he has. He seemed genuinely concerned for the wrong doing and was available whenever we had concerns throughout the process. He did a great job defending my mother and charges were dismissed. Our experience with this group was great.

My first time dealing with any legal issue and I had no idea where to even start. I came across Grand Canyon Law Group and reached out to them. I felt embarrassed about my legal issues, but from the very start they were very welcoming and non judgmental. My attorney Victoria Wilde was simply amazing, along with the rest of the legal team. Victoria made sure i understood everything, and you can tell she wanted to be an attorney because she wanted to help people. She fought for me every step of the way, and we finally have an end insight. They cant promise any outcome, but i can promise you that they will fight and be in your corner every step of the way. I couldn't have made a better decision than to hire them.

This law group is good, but my overall experience was mixed. On the positive side, they are very organized. All filings were done on time, reminders were sent, and nothing was missed. From a process standpoint, they seem reliable and well structured. Where I was disappointed is the level of personal attention. My impression was that the firm handles a high volume of cases, and my case felt like one among many. The backend coordination was fine, but I did not feel there was enough time spent on deeper strategy or on fully discussing options, especially given how serious the consequences were for me. To be fair, my case was complex and not an easy one, and I understand that outcomes are never guaranteed. Still, I expected more individual focus and advocacy in a situation like that. My advice to others: if your case is straightforward, this firm may be a good fit. If your situation is complicated or high-risk, you may want to consider a smaller practice or an attorney who can spend more time on your case, or take a attorney on per hour basis.

I am not one to write reviews often however this incident deserves a response. I was recommended to Grand Canyon Law Group and explicitly Ryan for a order of protection manipulation I was defending. I have nothing personal against the people of this firm however the case was grossly unrepresented. I felt a constant level of unpreparedness and a lack of caring for my case on their part. I provided tremendous evidence that the claims I was facing were false and the plaintiff was lying over many claims. During the trial Ryan completely failed to represent me with any sort of authority and allowed the plaintiffs attorney to slander and mud sling without ever pointing out the facts of the plaintiffs lies. The trial went very poorly and i was very disappointed in my representation. After the trial through the minute entry and amendments I was clearly not defended from the plaintiffs slander. The representation I received was very disappointing and ineffective. This was a very personal attack by the plaintiff so I did further my efforts to appeals court where I was finally represented and WON on every issue. Clearly the facts were present for Grand Canyon to have success, however the performance of the law group was so poor they lost a very easy case and my respect.
