A Fantastic, Light-Filled Gem in Pioneer Square Gray Sky Gallery is truly a fantastic gallery experience, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Located in the heart of Pioneer Square, this space is a must-visit for anyone looking to appreciate beautiful, contemporary art in Seattle. The space itself is breathtakingly beautiful and light-filled, creating a wonderful atmosphere that makes viewing the artwork a pleasure. The gallery features a diverse and exciting collection from many talented artists, showcasing a wide range of media—from painting and sculpture to mixed media installations. There is something new and engaging around every corner. What made our visit truly stand out was the incredible hospitality. We were an impromptu group who dropped in today, and the owner and resident artist was so gracious and welcoming. She took the time to show us all around and share insights into the pieces, making the entire experience feel personal and inviting. It is rare to find such beautiful art coupled with such a warm and generous welcome. We genuinely appreciated the time she spent with us today. Thank you for making an impromptu visit feel like a special occasion! Cheers - Susan

This gallery is one of my favorites in Pioneer Square. It is perfectly curated and has such a diverse and amazing range of art pieces & artists. The owner is an amazing artist as well and couldn't be a more gracious host. She is so engaging and has such a love for art that comes across in her overall enthusiasm. She is great about educating people new to art about different styles and techniques and makes everyone entering the space feel welcomed. I have several pieces from this gallery and love visiting the space.

Gray Sky Gallery isn’t just a place to view art — it’s a place to experience it. I highly recommend stopping by and letting yourself be inspired. What truly sets this gallery apart is the atmosphere. The owner, Laura, and the artists she features foster a space that’s welcoming and genuine. There’s an ease to the way conversations unfold — no pretense, just real appreciation for art and the people drawn to it. I especially love how Laura collaborates with other artists to create fresh, immersive experiences every time. It’s never the same gallery twice — and that’s part of the magic. I can’t wait to return.

Gray Sky Gallery is a vibrant, exciting gallery among the many galleries in Pioneer Square. There is a variety of contemporary art always on display and a visitor can also see the working studio of owner, Laura Van Horne. She was at the gallery when I was there and she was eager to have a conversation with my friend and I, both artists, about the artists and the artworks that were exhibited. I thought it was very interesting that she also rents out her space to other artists if they'd like to have a pop up show! I found the gallery a friendly place to visit and I will be sure to go back when I am visiting Seattle galleries!

Love this gallery- it’s my favorite in Seattle! The space is so beautiful and well lit with three tiers of amazing local contemporary artwork with a variety of textures, mediums and imagery. The owner is so nice, she runs the gallery and is a prolific artist herself with a little studio in the back. Such a joy chatting with her and seeing her process!
