Josh was an animated guide and seems to truly love what he does. I didn’t feel like we really walked that far, but as tourism goes I’d still recommend comfortable shoes. You can use the restroom and get water and snacks at the national park office before you take off. You’ll learn Philly history, details about the first capitol, see where the continental congress was held, see the OG branches of government and where they were housed, a few more details and quips, plus the liberty bell. You’ll test and expand your knowledge of history. Great tour, I’d like to go back and participate in their haunted version.

Booked a Revolution and the Founders: History Tour of Philadelphia tour with Kyle and had a blast. Kyle was so informative and it was very clear how passionate he is about the founding of the US. He made great efforts to include us all and get our feedback on how fast or slow he would guide us around. At every stop, there would be numerous people who would stop and listen to Kyle or take pictures of him in his full outfit, which was fun to see. Highly recommend Grim Philly Twilight Tours and would love to come by again if I’m ever in Philly.

Christa was a great tour guide. She was funny and told us about history of Philly with some adult style sexual tidbits that were entertaining. It was a 2 hour walking tour at night but we kept moving and the cool weather didn’t bother us. It was Halloween so she offered us some candy. I would recommend this tour.

The tour was spectacular! Our tour guide, Wendy, had a masters degree in history and was so knowledgeable. Her storytelling skills were top notch and kept us interested the entire tour. We didn’t want it to end! And on top of all that, she made some great food recommendations in the area! We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and highly recommend it to all.

I had such a great experience on the Revolution and Founding Fathers tour with Grim Philly! Our guide, Josh, was phenomenal, super knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Philadelphia. He had a great way of sharing facts and stories that made the tour feel like an interactive history lesson rather than just a walk around the city. What really stood out was how thoughtful he was. He made sure we stopped in shaded spots whenever possible, which was SO appreciated on a warm day. It showed he genuinely cared about our comfort while still delivering a rich and engaging experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Josh as your guide!
