First time at salon and the facility is awesome. Unfortunately, the compliment stops there. I felt like cattle being herded. Person doing color was wonderful but after that I was pass down for other services. I thought the colorist would check to see the finished color, but there was no interest or personal contact, just sent me on my way. Fast turnover of clients seems to be the priority.

I chose a salon because it was highly recommended on Google. My hair is very thick and it was to my waist. I wanted it layered. I came out of there with 2 feet cut off of my hair and she didn’t even cut my bangs. I paid a lot of money to have my haircut. At first, I was a little in shock And I was gonna give a good review because I was pretty relaxed but whenever I got home and I’ve actually had to try to style my own hair and everything I see just how much she cut off and that she didn’t even blend my hair. She just gave me a blunt cut layer And my hair is just passed my shoulders. I am devastated. I do understand that my hair will grow back, but I will never return to the salon and I will continue to cut my own hair because I just don’t wanna have this happen to me again

grow is THE salon in Knoxville. Shane Archer is a true pro and creative genius, and he’s built a team that’s just as talented. I’ve bounced between stylists here and trust every single one—they all know how to handle my long, thick hair and make it look amazing. The front desk is friendly and super accommodating (snacks + smiles go a long way!). The zen wash room is next-level—essential oils, soft music, heated weighted blanket—it’s like a spa moment before your style. I always leave with compliments and that “new me” confidence.

First off the salon is gorgeous! Second, I took my 12 year old daughter here to get a haircut based on some recommendations from others in our local Facebook group. We have struggled for years to find someone who can cut and style her hair correctly, only for my daughter to be disappointed every time. Until we met Rae today!! Rae was absolutely amazing, she actually educated my daughter on how to take care of her hair. Then she gave her a gorgeous cut and style, my daughter has not stopped smiling since we left! Rae is one of the best stylists I have ever met and we will now exclusively be going to see her and no one else. Thank you so much for an amazing experience for my daughter. I will be recommending your salon to everyone!!
