We had a great experience with Coach Brown at the Guilford Driving School. He provided behind-the-wheel practice lessons for my daughter and was extremely patient, professional, and clear in his instructions. I moved from Europe to the US without ever acquiring a driver's license. Coach Brown was a pleasure to learn from. He was always calm, attentive, respectful and on time. I was very nervous at first but Coach Brown hustled things along which was a good thing. He was always encouraging by highlighting the progress I've made. My driving improved significantly with every lesson. We even drove on the interstate. On our last ride I mentioned that I'd like to learn how to maintain a car. We drove to a gas station where he explained to me how to fuel the car, what is what under the hood and how to tell when something needs to be fixed.. His DMV driving test preparation was spot-on. My husband trusts my driving abilities and is not majorly worried when I drive our kids around without him. For those reading my review: If I can do it, so do you! In my case, it was very empowering to learn a new skill as an adult and I love the freedom that driving myself brings. I wholeheartedly can recommend Mr Brown.
Coach Brown is an amazing instructor! I was really scared at first to get a driving instructor because English is not my first language and I thought I might not understand, but he made me feel so comfortable and was very patient in teaching me. He helped me conquer my fear of driving, and I recently passed my driving test because of his guidance. He taught me what to expect during the test and exactly what I needed to do to pass, and I did it! I learned so much from every session we had. If you’re looking for a great driving instructor, this is it. Thanks, Coach!
Coach Brown’s instruction was top notch, and he was very helpful in teaching me to drive well as a first-time driver. Another great part of our driving session was when I asked him to help me understand what the NC road test would be like. He took me to the DMV and walked me through everything I needed to know to pass my test on the first attempt. PS: He is always, and I mean always on time for the driving appointment/session, and arrives early to get the session started on time.
I recently moved over from Scotland and wanted to practice my driving skills prior to my test. Coach Brown was great from the start. He is calm, very patient and explained things really well. He put me at ease and helped me become more confident in my driving ability over in America. I enjoyed each lesson and the 90 minutes flew by. His preparation for my test was spot on. I could not have been more prepared and ready for it. I sat both my theory and road test today, passing both 1st time. Pass or fail, I'd only have positive things to say about Coach Brown and Guilford Driving School. Saddest part is with me passing today, I have no more lessons with Coach.☹️
