Update for second visit. My wife and I visited for first time this past Monday and we tried the burritos with asada. We were very pleased with the food and the great customer service from the Chef. My wife and I visited for second time and this time we ordered chilaquiles verdes and once again, our food was above expectations. Chef Angel offered us to add a piece of Cecina to our plates and the beef was amazing. The staff is always very friendly.

Both the steak and the chicken meals were very tender with lots of flavor. A very unassuming place, but you can tell they make their food with love. A hidden GSO gem for sure.

I had an excellent experience at Guisados! The restaurant was exceptionally clean, welcoming, and offered a wide variety of delicious options. The customer service was truly 10/10 — every staff member was kind, attentive, and made me feel right at home. A highlight of my visit was when the owner personally came out from the kitchen to greet me. He took the time to chat and even offered me some of their homemade mole to try — such a thoughtful and genuine gesture that really stood out. I ordered two menudos and chilaquiles, and everything was absolutely delicious. The chilaquiles, in particular, were outstanding — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Each plate was filled to the top and came with generous sides of salsa, cilantro, lime, and onions. If you’re looking for a family-friendly restaurant that takes pride in great food, cleanliness, and top-notch service, Guisados is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be returning with my family!

The hospitality felt like family! The food was delicious! Guisados is like going to grandma's house. The meal felt like a warm hug, authentic, large portions, and service was quick and we were asked if we needed anything multiple times. Will be back, most likely once a week!

Such a great place, I can't wait to go back. So many restaurants around here have a great looking menu but the flavor/spices just isn't there. This place really hits. The food was delicious. Everyone was friendly. The arroz chofan had so much flavor and was a great portion, the shrimp with corn and chorizo was absolutely to die for. Do yourself a favor and get the cucumber lime juice as well. This will be my favorite new place. Oh and the Desserts are fire as well. Don't sleep on this place. 10/10
