Today I almost missed a trip to H&H Nursey in Lakewood, CA. I've been experimenting with propagating and growing succulents, and H&H is where I've bought most of my starter plants. They offer a wide variety of flowers, plants, succulents, shrubs, and probably many other things I haven't explored, since I usually visit for a specific item. I could easily spend hours just browsing because I find it peaceful there. No one bothers you, but the staff are usually available to answer any questions. The prices are fair for what you get. Hopefully, my new succulent from today will thrive.

Great little nursery! I’ve been coming here for years. They offer a nice variety of plants — vegetables, annuals, perennials, trees, indoor plants, and succulents. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Hours are limited, so plan your visit accordingly. It’s also a great place to pick up soil amendments. Highly recommend!

Love this place. Has a good selection of everything and it is neatly organized. Bought 4 forsythias and 2 double scarlet quince. Would check out the nursery now and again for new plants.

Quite a large selection of almost every kind of plant or tree you can imagine. The lot goes on and on! Yet what impressed me the most was the overall care of each plant. I did not see a single plant that was unhealthy! I was also impressed by the variety of pots that they had. Most places have just a few generic ones, here there is an assortment of very unique containers for reasonable prices. Definitely a place to shop when you are seeking to improve the landscaping for your home or business.

This is the best nursery in the area. Springtime is glorious here and I'm quite looking forward to it. They have a great fruit tree selection (no citrus I believe but that is common for the nurseries in the area), wonderful landscaping plants, a very pretty succulent section, great indoor plants in a protected green house. Lots and lots of vegetables and herbs. A great shade plant section including a big selection of camellias in the winter. The staff is amazing and friendly. Honestly this is one of my favorite places to go. A small section with stepping stones and bags of gravel. Colorful pots and planters and really anything you need for your garden. Definitely worth a visit and be sure to check them out each season for a well rounded garden.
