Great place for celiacs as the menu is 100% gluten free and very tasty! All the tacos I tried were great, although a little more variety in toppings could spice things up a bit. Would definitely go back! The Common in general is a really cool place with lots of other good gluten free food options.

Service is great but the food not so good, too small for the price and they could also make the dish look pretty by adding a few chips on the side but no, just two small quesadillas with hardly any cheese, not coming back here again

I tried the chorizo, fish, and shrimp tacos. They were pretty tasty. The service was pretty decent and the wait was not long at all. The price was pretty steep though for the amount of food you get. It is definitely priced for convenience but I'm glad I've tried it.

We were visiting Winnipeg for the weekend, and this was my first time at The Forks, and also my first time trying Habanero Sombrero! My boyfriend’s sister brought us here for dinner on a Friday night. With so many food options to choose from, it took us a while to decide, but we were all in the mood for something fresh and we’re so glad we picked this place! As a vegetarian, I went with the pinto bean tacos, and honestly, they blew me away. I’m usually cautious with bean tacos since they can sometimes lack flavour or have a strange texture, but these were some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly spiced, super fresh, and packed with flavour. My boyfriend got a mix and match of beef, pork, and fish tacos, while his sister ordered all pork tacos, and both of them loved their meals too. We also shared a side of homemade chips with guac, which was flavourful and just the right texture for scooping. Overall, a 10/10 experience. If you’re visiting The Forks and craving something fresh, delicious, and satisfying, I definitely recommend giving Habanero Sombrero a try!

Best damn tacos, nachos, and enchiladas I've ever had! Every item on the menu is amazing. Love the fish taco especially! I come to Winnipeg once a year and always make a special trip and come to the forks and fix my taco craving. Do yourself a favour and visit. Staff and management are friendly! Muuuuaaah 🌮🌯 xo
