Came here during a visit to my S.O., and got an entire hair makeover, the first time any piece of haircutting equipment touched my hair in 5 years The environment was very welcoming, building very clean, and staff very kind and funny. seating is nice, and they even have - the throne ™ I had the pleasure of kenz being my stylist, they not only did a killer job, but it was incredible seeing their passion and love for the work they do radiate off of them. absolutely a joy to talk to (and thats coming from a lifetime introvert) overall, hair turned out killer, staff was incredible, and kenz is incredibly talented and even more passionate. TL;DR, warm and welcoming place, incredible cuts, talented stylists. 11/10, would trust kenz in another 5 years, especially with alt, will be swinging by again on my next visit to Colorado Springs.

Before even sitting down I’m being told my hair isn’t going to lift properly for some highlights because I have fashion color peekaboos and previously used box dye all over. Didn’t even think this would be an issue because other reviews mentioned similar stuff and still had great results. Maybe do a test strand? I want to trust the professional but I also know my hair, my mom( also a board certified cosmetologist) styles my hair once a year and I do my best to maintain it until she fly back, I’m not fully uneducated I wouldn’t bleach my hair untrained. I came in with full intentions of a wash, cut and possibly top partial highlight but after the initial gum smacking introduction I was so good and the worse part is they were slow and totally had time!! Bummer !
