We sent my niece to Hamilton for help with her college application essays, and her experience there was not good at all. Though she was a strong writer, Mr. Hamilton consistently dismissed her ideas. Instead, he pushed her to include all kinds of strange and obscure things: random ideas from pop psychology and books from 300 years ago. I suppose the point was to make the essay seem “smart.” But the result was a piece of writing that was overstuffed, phony-sounding, and that just didn’t make any sense. I worked in PR for twenty years, and if I’d have handed my boss this kind of writing, he would have fired me on the spot. But Hamilton loved it and insisted we use it. After a few months, and a few early rejections, my niece was so discouraged with the process that she threw away her Hamilton writing and dusted off an essay that she had written in 11th grade. I helped her edit one or two parts, and we sent it in. Guess what happened when she got the results? The colleges that she applied to with the Hamilton-directed essay – roundly rejected. The colleges where she used her own writing? Accepted to four out of five. If you are looking for college help, save your money. Chatgpt would give you better suggestions.

We have been fortunate enough to know Mr. Hamilton since 2012 as we sent four children through his SAT prep classes and benefited greatly. First, our son enrolled in the SAT summer class and we can honestly say his life was changed forever as a result. Mr. Hamilton and his team were able to identify gaps in his grammar and provided the necessary support making him not only a much stronger writer, but also a skilled problem solver and test taker, resulting in a perfect score on the SAT. Our son went on to work with Mr. Hamilton on his college applications and earned early admission to Stanford University where he obtained a CS degree. We returned to Hamilton Education with our next 3 children resulting in perfect and near perfect scores on the SAT and attendance at Stanford (Mathematical & Computational Science B.S., CS M.S.), UC Berkeley (Global Studies B.A. and Spanish & Portuguese B.A.) and Carnegie Mellon (Mechanical Engineering B.S. in process). Based on our experience, high SAT and AP scores equate to better college options and significant financial aid offers. In the end, the scholarships all our children obtained more than covered the cost of the Hamilton Education test prep classes and college admissions guidance. Mr. Hamilton cares deeply for students and works extremely hard to meet their goals. He sets high standards and expects students to work hard and do their absolute best. His deep knowledge of the admission process at highly competitive universities helped our children prepare applications that combined personal interests, achievements, test scores, & grades yielding life-changing opportunities. Thank you Mr Hamilton for all the patience, support, and caring guidance you gave our children the past 12 years. We hope many other students will have the privilege of knowing and working with you as well!

“Hamilton Education” college prep program is truly exceptional. My son attended their program last summer and fall, and the results were outstanding. Hamilton Education helped me score a 2400 on the SAT. The teachers taught me more than just SAT test skills; they helped me develop English, math, and writing skills that helped me succeed in my classes for the rest of high school and college. I enjoyed being in classes at Hamilton and appreciated the individual attention and support from the teachers. I would recommend Hamilton Education for anyone looking for testing and tutoring help.
