My 15 month old absolutely loves Hands & Hearts. We love that its a small group of kids and Kate & team give each of them so much individualized attention and support. They spend lots of time outside, do really cute art projects every day, and Kate keeps parents really well informed about their schedules (when they ate, napped, etc) and sends lots of fun pictures. We couldn't be happier here, its such a gem!

We were visiting San Francisco from Texas for business and left our child at Hands and Hearts Daycare for a week. Amazing experience—delicious food, engaging activities, daily outdoor time, and regular photo updates. Kate was caring and professional, and our child was happy every day. Highly recommend!

We have worked with the owner, Katya (Kate), as a nanny when our older one was a toddler. She is one of the most attentive and in-tune with child’s needs caregiver. She noticed little things and asked us prior to implementing any new routine. It was perfect balance of following what parents wanted and giving any new insights about child’s needs. As a mom herself, Katya, also knows about many child development methodologies. She is fluent 3 languages: Russian, English, and Chinese, which can only benefit any bilingual children.

My daughter had Kate as her nanny when she was one to two years old, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Kate as a daycare or preschool teacher! Kate is a warm and caring person who loves kids and cares for them. My daughter would crawl and later run to her every time she came over. Kate was able to start playing with the little one quickly, so mom (me) could leave with zero tears or worries, which is so important at this early age. She played with her, read books to her, fed her, and walked with her outside. I also credit Kate with being able to teach my daughter to fall asleep in her own bed for the daytime nap, since previously, she was only able to take a nap outside in a stroller, and would cry if she were put in bed during the day instead. Kate created a warm and friendly atmosphere, and my daughter felt loved and cared for, and we always looked forward to Kate's visits. I am confident that Kate's daycare will be a great success and kids will be very happy there!
