I can't recommend Marty enough. He took time and put in alot of effort to train my anxious border collie. Since my dog's 3 weeks stay at hanrob we can see behavioural improvements, he has gotten so much better at walks.
I honestly can’t thank the team enough for the gentle, compassionate care given to my darling senior dog, Loulou. On an extreme heat day (45 degrees!), my home air-conditioning gave up and I was completely at a loss about how to keep her safe and comfortable. Loulou is a senior girl and a trauma rescue, so she can be a bit tricky to manage at the best of times — and the team handled her with such patience, kindness and genuine care. The booking process was an absolute breeze, communication was clear and reassuring, and most importantly, I knew she was in safe hands all day. She was kept cool, calm and well looked after when I needed help the most. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and understanding shown to my girl, and I won’t hesitate to use Hanrob again. It’s such a relief knowing there’s a place that truly understands and respects senior dogs and their needs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
My two dogs had a wonderful stay at Hanrob Melbourne. They stayed in a private suite together for 14 days, one of the dogs is fussy and settled in well responding well to the carers. A great sign of the professionalism of the staff at Hanrob. Was great to receive photos and an email of them settled and enjoying their snuffle mat. Weather was wet during their time, nice to hear they had still gotten some valuable outside time. Loved the report card touch upon pick up too and both boys have been happy and healthy since returning home. Thank you for taking good care of my pups. Highly recommend care at Hanrob Melbourne, they will be back!
I trusted them to look after my dog, but she came back with a bleeding nose — and they simply handed her over saying, “everything went fine.” I was devastated. After calling multiple times just to understand what really happened, I finally got a call back from a manager who was not only rude but completely indifferent. Their excuse was unacceptable and showed zero compassion or accountability. If you truly love your dog and care about their wellbeing while you’re away, please — go somewhere else. No pet deserves to be treated this way.
Hanrob Pet Services has been a huge disappointment. International relocation is already stressful for both pets and parents, and the least I expected was basic empathy and transparency. Unfortunately, this was not the case. During my dog’s two-month stay, whenever I asked for updates, I was told I had to pay $25 per photo. Even after paying, the few pictures I received were blurry and unhelpful. A video or WhatsApp call was denied outright, despite how important it was for me—being overseas and unable to see my pet for such a long time. This left me extremely stressed and constantly worried about his wellbeing. When I finally got him back, my dog was visibly traumatised, sleeping excessively, and unable to relax. His behavior and eyes made it painfully clear that he had received only bare-minimum care. For a company that claims to love and care for animals, the lack of compassion and transparency was shocking. Compared to other relocation services, Hanrob fell far short. I would not recommend.
