Five stars are definitely not enough. I was looking for an Orff class for my toddler. After talking with Mr. Teymourian, we decided to first give the piano class a shot. At first, I was skeptical, since my then 3-year-old son was so energetic that he could barely sit at the piano for three minutes. I used to become frustrated and wait outside. But the patience, kindness, and professionalism of Ms. Mitra are unimaginable. After almost a year, playing the piano is the first and last thing my son does every day. I am amazed every week by how much he is progressing, and Ms. Mitra’s impact is undeniable. As a plus, the warm, positive vibe of both the people and the place makes every visit a truly pleasant experience.

I started learning piano as an adult with no musical background, and it was truly a challenge for me. With my busy work schedule and limited practice time, I never expected to progress this much — and I owe it entirely to my incredible instructor, Aidin. Aidin makes every class an amazing experience. He is extremely patient, highly skilled, and experienced, with high expectations that genuinely push you to grow. He is passionate about helping students improve, and it shows in every lesson. The academy itself is welcoming, professional, and well-organized, creating the perfect environment for learning. I’m very grateful for the progress I’ve made and highly recommend this academy to anyone who wants to learn piano with confidence and enjoyment. And a big credit goes to Arash, one of the Piano instructors and the academy’s director, who is an accomplished musician and leads the entire team beautifully.

Most kids start learning piano at age 4 or 5, but my son began when he was only 3 and a half. At this young age, it’s usually hard to keep a child focused or engaged, but Mitra is incredibly patient, experienced, and truly knows how to connect with little ones. She makes learning fun and natural for them. I still remember one day when my son had just woken up and really didn’t feel like going to class — even I couldn’t convince him! But Mitra gently encouraged him, and he happily joined the lesson. I’m very happy with her teaching style, patience, and warm approach, and my son absolutely loves his piano lessons!

When I first contacted Harmony Academy I was not sure if my daughter (3 year old at the time) is old enough to take lessons. They offered us a trial session and the teacher told me that she is good to start... I was still skeptical. But after couple of sessions with her teacher (Mitra) I was sure that my daughter will not only learn but also enjoy the piano! I am so impressed by Mitra's patience and her ability to connect with a toddler while keeping it all professional!
