I had an extremely unprofessional experience with Harris Electric. I contacted Electrum for a Tesla wall charger install, and they outsourced the job to Harris Electric. When I spoke with Mike about pricing, I explained my measurements and noted I had three other quotes from Tesla-certified electricians that were all over $1,000 less. Instead of addressing my questions, he became argumentative and repeated the same explanation without engaging my concerns. When I said I was no longer interested due to the cost and tone, he raised his voice, used profanity, and called me a “f***ing clown.” He then brought up religion despite me saying I wasn’t interested. After I ended the call, he called back multiple times to continue arguing. I’ve never experienced this level of hostility. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I texted the numbers listed and learned they’re brothers, Mike and Max Harris, carrying on the business their dad started. I texted them at 6 a.m. and got an immediate response. They asked for pictures of the breaker and the issue, diagnosed it quickly, and offered same-day service. Communication was incredibly easy and clear, all by text. Max arrived right on time, identified the short, and fixed it efficiently. They were professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and honestly just great to work with. I can’t speak more highly of them. This is exactly the kind of trustworthy local business you want in DC. Highly recommend Harris Electrical.
