I had higher expectations based on the reviews, but my visit left me a bit underwhelmed. The selection of fresh fruits and vegetables was smaller than I anticipated. I picked up some tomatoes, avocados, and a few items from the deli. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized that both the prepackaged Boar’s Head meat and cheese I purchased had expired over a week ago. It’s a cute concept, but there wasn’t as much local produce or specialty items as I was hoping for.

I’m so lucky I stumbled upon Haslet Feed, I just randomly decided to pop in because I was in the area… and WOW they have something truly special here. Don’t sleep on this little feed store! Great prices, great selection, and TAMALES! I mean, who doesn’t like tamales? I’ll definitely be coming back here, my mom loved the peaches and tomatoes- hopefully you guys can stock up on some quality orange marmalade because I know a guy who would love that! 🧡🍊

This store has ALOT of plants! And feed for them. There’s an outside area and some plants on the front walkway. They happened to be having a half off sale today in certain plants, very cool! The reason for my visit was 1) I needed honey so why not buy local (it’s not from a farmer in Haslet. The label says it’s from Alvorado, Texas) 2) I am looking for Cyanora-an inchworm killer. I found my honey, yay! The pricing varies for the honey depending on your size container. It’s right by the checkout counter if you’re looking for some like I was. And they don’t carry inchworm killer anymore. The staff said the demand was too low and it costed too much to carry. That’s okay, I can drive to Russell Feed for that. Anyway, great visit!

So friendly and helpful! They have a great variety of succulents and some really beautiful garden plants. The Dublin soda root beer was very refreshing. Definitely will be back 👍
