We've used this service repeatedly. They're always fast, professional, and reasonably priced. This round was to install a new garbage disposal. Took less time than the estimate, so the price was reduced. Love this service. Will definitely use them again.

Very impressed with Hearth and Home Handyman Services from start to finish! Scott was on time every day and was excellent at communication. His workmanship, professionalism, and care for our home and yard (and pets!) was very much appreciated. Scott rebuilt the rotting wood doors on our outdoor shed, replaced 6 screens for our sunroom sliding doors, and cleaned and stained our front porch cedar. We are really happy with the finished work!

BEWARE. Exceptionally poor customer service and project management. Very dissatisfied with this company. Itemized materials receipt was not provided prior to materials purchase (yes, my fault for not demanding one prior to paying - I could have saved myself $1,500). Upon reviewing the itemized receipt I was charged for materials that didn’t fit, duplicate purchases, excessive materials that had to be returned, and items that never arrived. They are very careless with details. Materials came in at a 50-90% (!!) markup with zero explanation from the company as to why the materials were excessively marked up. When refunded for these purchase errors, the amount seemingly came in well below what I had originally paid and the company refused to provide an itemized explanation of the returns. I can only assume the returns too were not handled correctly. I asked multiple times for the order number for the materials so I could obtain extra cabinet shelves and the company refused to provide it. They’ve also refused to provide an itemized invoice for additional material’s purchased so I have zero idea what I was charged for. The attached letter is what I received from the parent company, Kendall Design + Build based on a one-star review of the parent company (that has since been removed). These are the types of people you will be dealing with.

Hearth and Home did an excellent job installing two very complicated tvs mounts. It was our second time working with H&H and they are consistently professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

The job I needed was to fill in a through-hole in the wall where a wall unit AC resided. Required removing the AC unit (big and old), brick, framing, and drywall work. Good help is hard to find these days... but not with Hearth & Home. Most remarkable, besides the quality workmanship, is they came in UNDER QUOTE. They were professional and courteous in returning phone calls, entry into home, manners in and out of our home, and were timely and kept up the communication. 5 stars. I will have more jobs for them.
