A blast from the past I felt like I walked into the '80s. The staff was wonderful. The atmosphere and lighting was exceptional. There is no seating inside, but we were allowed to take the table and chairs outside and tailgated in the front with our four pizzas. If you've been to New York and tried their Pizza, this is the closest thing you'll find in Texas. The margarita pizza was delicious. The braised cupped pepperoni was perfect. The aloha pineapple that was juicy mouth-watering with excellent Canadian bacon. You can tell that the sauce was homemade and love was put in by the chef. I look forward to taking my friends back and enjoying this new find. I think we are going to make it a tradition with our group growing each visit. If you haven't tried it, you must try and see for yourself. If you've never been to New York, no need to go. It has came to you. Thanks, heirloom Pizza

Believe the hype - the pizza here is as good as other reviews make them out to be! As is the super-friendly service. Being a first time customer, Anthony explained the options and recommended The Author Detroit-style deep dish. It was some of the tastiest pizza I've ever had (less is more in this case) with the airiest dough to boot. The shop itself is tiny as it's intended to be primarily a take-away pizzeria, but there is a small table with 2 stools in the corner. They also have Galaga and Pac-Man coin-ops that are free to play - the perfect way to kill the time while your pies are being prepared!

Heirloom is a legit pizza shop. I grew up in Chicago and spent nearly a decade out in NYC, Heirloom can definitely hold themselves with the quality of those pizzas . Haven’t had their Detroit style yet but the NY thin crust is spot on. If you’re looking for a new pizza spot and you’re reading this stop looking and give them a try.

As a New Yorker who’s chased great pizza in Texas for 30+ years (and even lived in Italy and Detroit), I can say Heirloom Pizza in Plano is the best I’ve had in Texas, period. The regular pizza is my favorite—thin, crisp, perfectly balanced. The Detroit-style is excellent too, with its caramelized crust and surprisingly light dough. What makes Heirloom even more special is the owner’s story. Justin saved for years, taught himself pizza-making from scratch, and built something incredible with passion and heart. Takeout only, but worth every minute of the wait. In a world of chains, this is a true gem. Don’t miss it.

The owner is honestly one of the most down-to-earth, pizza-loving people I’ve met. Also, the fact that this spot is Halal-friendly is such a win for me. When I tell you my taste buds haven’t been this happy since I left the upper Midwest—I’m not kidding. This place is that good. Had it for lunch today, and I’m already planning to grab it again for dinner. It’s so refreshing to finally find a spot in Texas that can do pizza like this, and with such a wide variety too.
