I called in for a Standard Home cleaning package for basement suite Move in, move out with one bedroom and washroom. One of the workers arrived earlier than her co worker. They weren’t wearing any ID to indicate who they were working for but I know that they were coming. I was hoping they would be more cordial but I guess English wasn’t their first language. Interpersonal skills would need improvement especially for front line workers like themselves. Apparently they were on a tight schedule so they weren’t available to clean the blinds as I was too late in asking. Cleaning of heavily greased surfaces were challenging as one of the workers was possibly on training. There was still some sticky film from grease on the cabinet door handles and on top of the microwave and fridge. The worker made sure that it was finished to my satisfaction. I was hoping that it would have been done right the first time. Chalk it up to inexperience. They at the end were able to clean to my satisfaction but I felt rather rushed in deciding if the work was up to standard. It could be me or it could be them but if they can get workers to be better at interpersonal skills, it can go a long way. Upon further inspection, I’ve seen workers clean glass better than this crew.
