Paula - Hello Sugar was an absolute DREAM to have as our photographer for our wedding. Paula was incredibly prompt with responding to queries before and after our wedding and she is just a lovely down to earth person with a calm energy which was welcome in a busy house the morning of a wedding! Paula had a preview gallery emailed to us the very next day and the turn around on the full completed gallery was slightly faster than we were expecting which was a lovely surprise! The quality of the photos are incredible and looking back it all felt very candid and not posed which you can see in the photos and it’s what I love most about them. If you’re looking for bright warm tones, Paula is your woman and you won’t regret it!
Paula is an absolute superstar! When selecting a photographer we both liked bright, uplifting editorial style photos. Paula’s portfolio immediately drew us in. From the beginning, Paula made us both feel at ease. I knew she had her work cut out for us because anytime we get a photo one of us has eyes closed, isn’t smiling, is looking the wrong way (the list goes on) we are not very coordinated people! 🤣 From our pre wedding photos Paula got us relaxed and they turned out even better than we imagined. We received lovely comments about them. Our wedding photos were super. Paula arrived the morning of the wedding and had scanned the garden, piecing together bits and pieces for our flat lay and some details shots. She did this all without me even noticing it was superb! Paula worked so well with our content creator and I cannot imagine the number of steps she did on our wedding day but she had a way of getting it done without us even noticing her! The size of the gallery she created for us is just insane, our families are as delighted as we are! Paula had a brilliant sense of humor as well as being a perfectionist. She made us relax, laugh and fall into the way of posing for photos or just moving to get those natural shots. In addition to being a ray of sunshine she was constantly scanning the room, the lighting and making sure she got things just right! We cannot recommend Paula enough, she is a joy to have with you on your wedding day, she makes it “good honest work” 🤣 and she created incredible, timeless memories captured in the most exquisite photos! From the very beginning, when we booked Paula as our wedding photographer, we knew we were in safe hands. She was professional, attentive, and her communication throughout the whole process was excellent. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she took the time to answer our questions and guide us through what to expect, which gave us huge confidence leading up to the day. On the morning of the wedding, Paula was such a calming presence. She brought a wonderful sense of reassurance and helped to ease Clare’s nerves, making sure everything flowed effortlessly and the day ran smoothly without ever feeling rushed. She was incredibly organised, yet balanced it perfectly with a relaxed and fun energy that everyone really enjoyed. Paula has a fantastic way of bringing out the best in people. She made the group photos enjoyable and lighthearted, while also capturing so many natural, candid moments that reflect the joy of the day. The photos themselves are absolutely gorgeous—better than we could have imagined—and will be treasured for years to come. We are so grateful to Paula for capturing our wedding so beautifully, and I would highly recommend her to any couple planning to tie the knot.
We booked Paula (Hello, sugar) for our wedding after a family friend who works in the wedding industry recommended her. Paula exceeded all our expectations and was so professional throughout. Paula took her time going through what kind of pictures we wanted and who we wanted in them, making it so personal to us. What stood out the most was Paula's passion, professionalism, and just what a lovely person she is to have around on your wedding day. Paula made us feel at ease while having fun along the way. We received some of our pictures the next day, which was so lovely to have so quick to share with family and friends. Overall, we could not recommend Paula enough to have as part of your wedding day.
Paula was absolutely incredible to work with on our wedding day. We got married on the 3rd September 2023 and having Paula there to capture our day was the best decision. I had followed Paula on Instagram prior to our engagement, and I reached out as soon as we started planning our wedding as I loved her style of photography and I loved that she brought her personality to her work, and she absolutely did not disappoint for our wedding! She was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process - from initial contact and booking, right through to the day itself, and after the wedding too. She was always available to contact if needed and made us feel so at ease, right from our first video call and especially on the wedding day itself. Paula brought great energy to the day, was so easy to work with, and got on so well with all of our family and friends, and with all of the other wedding suppliers there on the day too. We found it really helpful that Paula sent on an extensive form ahead of our final call before the wedding, which allowed us to talk through what photos we wanted captured on the day and went through everything she needed to know ahead of day. We recently received our full photo gallery, and the photos are absolutely amazing. Paula made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera and captured everything throughout the day, from myself and my husband getting ready that morning at our venue, to our guests enjoying the day, our ceremony, family photos, and photos of myself and my husband together. Paula also sent a selection of preview photos the day after the wedding to share with family and friends ahead of getting our full photo gallery, and we also used these to order our Thank You cards after the wedding which was brilliant. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to capture our day and we would 100% recommend Paula from Hello Sugar Photography to anyone. We are so grateful to have our beautiful photos to look back on for years to come and remember our special day.
