I went to go get a Brazilian wax and I booked my appointment for 250. When I got there I was a little early so I called to see if I could get in early and they told me no and informed me that they had actually moved my appointment to 3 o’clock, which was 10 minutes later. When I told him that was not OK because I have other things to accommodate throughout the day, they said that the appointment was originally at 3 o’clock. I told them no and that I had gotten for confirmation text saying that it was at 2:50. They continued to argue with me and then hung up the Phone. When I called back to cancel the appointment, the girl was extremely annoyed and wanted to push me to three anyways and I told her no and to cancel multiple times, even though she kept asking me if I wanted the appointment. Do not go here if you are planning to plan your day around it or if you have anything else going on with your day because they’re going to move your appointments and be extremely rude

I had a wax with Savanna, it was my first time at this place Hello Sugar. I’ve been waxing for 3 years at other places. So I got the promo of $29 for armpits and Brazilian wax which is fair considering the things I’m about to say. I loved the result and the pain was definitely not an issue she has great technique when it comes to pulling the strips of hard wax however, the appointment took much longer than what I’m used to with other wax businesses. I arrived at 3:40 and I got in like 10 minutes later because of the door being locked and then I had to talk to someone in a machine who wasn’t even at the location to be able to get in. Of course that’s not the waxer’s fault but just annoying with the brand itself. Then I got in and the suite is so small that everything feels too personal since everything happens there including payment at the end. The way the place is settled is just not what I’m used to and as I was saying the wax took too long I think it started around 3:53-4:00 pm and I got out around 4:40. I’ve gotten Brazilian waxes and underarms waxes with much more hair in max 20 mins BOTH in the past. Had to come here because I only get to go home every few months since I’m going to college but personally not a place I would recommend to pay a full priced wax at, simply because of the way it’s settled and the time it takes to get it done. I also had to do positions that I’m not used to for the first time and they were kinda uncomfortable, which was personally just not my thing I don’t like having my legs lifted and even more when it’s for long periods of time but thats pretty much what I need to say. I give four stars because Savanna is a very kind esthetician and made me feel comfortable even though she took a long time with me. If you don’t mind the full price which I think is $60+ after the first client promo and spending almost an hour at this location then honestly go with it. But I personally won’t come back because of the reasons listed, I’m also graduating soon so I don’t need to. But it was an experience and got waxed for a low price so, it’s okay.

Savanna did my Brazilian wax and arm pits. She was very kind and made me feel comfortable as it was my first ever wax. However. The wax took over 2 hours. Which I think is strange, and it was extremely painful she was using tweezers to pluck most of the hairs. I’m not sure what was wrong during this appointment, Savanna is a lovely girl but I don’t think she knows what she’s doing. I hate leaving bad reviews but one of my arm pits is in so much pain and purple from bruising. The appointment was also about an hour late. I booked for 12:30, didn’t get in until 1:15 due to Savanna running behind with her previous client. This should’ve been my red flag.
