Came here at least once a week during my 4 years at university. Michael (the owner) and Anis (his wife) were both extremely knowledgeable on all manner of topics and could find you a book among their stock for almost any interest you may have. I’ll be sure to drop by whenever I visit Liverpool in the future! Would highly recommend, the best bookshop in town.

Oh my goodness. It's like walking back in time. Books piled high, books on shelves in sections and cds to look through (will take a while as there are lots!) I have been meaning to pop in for a while and I'm glad I did.

Superb as ever. Excellent bargain boxes to attack before even going through the door. Well ordered with very little not where it should be. Requires persistance and careful moving to browse comprehensively but all is possible. A retreat to the upper floor gives more space and even somewhere to sit. There are no gimmicks here. I was once given a cup of tea. I have spent joyous hours and a fair bit of money here.

A fabulous second hand bookshop, spread over three floors, absolutely stacked and packed with books, particularly reference books. The owners are friendly and helpful, and always up for a chat.

A gem of a second-hand bookstore (with new rare books too), run by an absolutely amazing owner. Great prices; Sundays closed.
