I used Heyward CPA for the first time last year to file an S-corp tax return for my business. The tax return was prepared and filed on time, but only after I found several mistakes they made involving data input (including a wrong social security number). I decided to give them another try this year, but still have not received an engagement letter from them. I called and left a message regarding this several days ago, but never heard back. Seems like it's time to find somebody else.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE After speaking with someone at Heyward CPA, I will admit I really thought this would turn out better than it has. My wife and I told the representative CUSTOMER SERVICE was very important to us. However, this has turned into a horrible experience. After paying the deposit to get the tax return started, I began to realize I could never get anyone on the phone to respond to questions. Yes, we both also tried emailing, no response. I even used the online response system they brag about. Still no response. Finally, I decided I no longer wanted work with Heyward CPA. The person that called back for a discussion was blatantly rude and disrespectful which was not encouraging us to reconsider. I have called and requested my deposit back more than 5 times. Even the receptionist has said I see you have called multiple times. (WHENEVER SHE PUTS YOU ON HOLD NO ONE IS GOING TO RESPOND, TRUST ME). At this point I just want my deposit and receipt of proof.
