Just finished tonal drawing with Chai! As a beginner it was the right of amount of challenging that I was looking for, as I have never built an art practice into my day to day. I learned a lot, had fun, and have been drawing regularly outside of class since November. I highly recommend this studio for art classes!

I've taken classes with all three instructors here - they are all excellent artists and teachers. I've learned so much with each class and look forward to returning for more. The drop-in life drawing sessions are really fun as well. It's a great place to grow your skills and find creative community.

Intro to Watercolor with Ryan was perfect. He’s both an incredible artist and teacher. He constantly multiplied my knowledge and skill. There is a lot of 1-on-1 time and targeted advice. Here are a few pieces I would’ve never thought to try, let alone execute, without Ryan’s support.

We had a great time at our water color sketch booking class. This was my 4th class at high low and I can't recommend it enough. All the teachers I've met are kind, professional, and extremely skilled artists. It's a pleasure to work with them and I'll definitely be back for more.

I took the Oil Painting class with Ryan and loved it! Such a phenomenal studio with incredibly talented artists and teachers. There was such an openness and willingness to share knowledge. The space felt warm and comfortable. The instruction was impeccable and I am so excited to take more classes here. It’s a professional level lesson, but accessible to any level of experience. This was my first oil painting class, though I’ve painted acrylic for years and it was so wonderful to learn a new medium and tools to improve my painting in both mediums. If you’re thinking about taking a class here, do it! You’ll learn so many skills, meet cool people and flow out on creativity. Plus you’ll leave the class with three or four paintings you can hang on your wall.
