My yorkie goes to Hightail Hotel for daycare a few days a month for about a year and he LOVES IT. The people who work here love to be there and love my dog which is so important. We just did our first ever “longer than a weekend” boarding and he came back to us happy & healthy. Could not be happier with the experience! Highly recommend to all!!

We love High Tail Hotel! After getting our first puppy Leonardo a year ago, we were looking for daycare facilities for a couple times a week where we'd be particularly busy and wouldn't have a ton of time to spend with him. Soooo happy we found this place. Leo is small and very sweet but could easily be made nervous/scared. We were a little worried a daycare environment might be too overwhelming for him. He was a bit nervous his first day but now he absolutely loves going. He starts getting excited in the car the minute we even turn on their street. We are used to spending almost 24/7 with him and it feels so nice knowing the times where he is away he is having a great time. We can tell he loves all the girls that work there as well. Highly recommend High Tail! They do such a great job and care so much about all the pups. We also appreciate getting to see Leo on their Instagram from time to time :)

I am surprised to see these positive reviews. After telling them my dog with separation anxiety couldn’t be left alone (and being assured he wouldn’t be), they closed him in a small space and he came home panicked and covered in marks because they left him in there freaking out and clawing at the door without intervening. [Update]: Responding to owner’s message below. It is standard practice to have dogs eat in separate areas; all boarding places do this. This is not the issue. When I picked him up, the attendant told me the reason he was covered in marks on his face and paws was because they left him in a wooden enclosure by himself for a “nap,” where he got upset (as I told them would happen if they did that). The first picture here is what he usually looks like. The next two photos are after I picked him up from his overnight with you.

High Tail Hotel took great care of our dogs, I would give more stars if possible. We took a tour and they then they took care of our dogs for a few weeks while we lived in SF for work reasons. Our dogs go to day care in LA, when I pulled up to drop them off both of our dogs wagged tails and whined because they were excited to go in. That brought my husband and I smiles and laughs, they loved it and after meeting the staff each morning and night I see why. Thank you High Tail Hotel!

Our pack of dogs cannot get enough of this place! They’ve been going for daycare and boarding (aka “camp”) for the last 6 years and have loved every second. The staff are so caring, and have gone above and beyond countless times when we’ve needed an extra hand or been concerned about the pups while out of town.
