We had the very best day yesterday on tour with Scott, our wonderful, vibrant and cheery tour guide. He made the experience even more enjoyable for us, giving some tidbits of history and markers along the way through out each stop. On the way to Loch Ness we made a few stops at places like Loch Lomond, Loch Tulla, “The Three Sisters” and a few more mountain ranges for photo stops. Lunch in Loch Ness was lovely, sitting outside on an October day with the sunshine accompanying us. We had a bit of time to explore in Fort Augustus before heading out on the Loch Cruise to catch a glimpse of Nessie. It was wonderful to learn about the history and ongoing research in the area, made me a bit more of a believer to be honest! After this stop we made way back down south, stopping for photos at Ben Nevis and to see the War Memorial. Then a beautiful drive through the Cairngorms National Park and final stop, feeding the Hairy Coo’s, and a wee bit of ice cream before the sunset covered the landscape while driving back into Glasgow, Scott and a few Italians on board serenaded us to some Italian Opera, and extra treat for us all ☺️ Would very, very happily have Scott again for another tour!
