We were visiting Hillsborough from Charlotte, and this art gallery didn’t disappoint at all. The icing on the cake was that it showcased the work of 21 local artists. The art pieces ran the gamut from metals, glass, painting, sculpture and so much more. We especially loved the art of Pat Merriman—her creations left us awestruck as we wondered how art ca move us so. The featured show “So much Color” was brilliant as well—so much color infused deftly in art pieces ranging from paintings to glass pieces. The art pieces are available for purchase and there are other artsy items(including artsy postcards) for sale too. We enjoyed talking to the host too. Overall, it was an afternoon well-spent at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts, and I highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area to get your art fix! Please check their hours before you visit.
