When my wife told me we needed a designer for our kitchen model and recommended James, I had my doubt as to the value he would bring. James has been the most fun interior designer we have ever worked with. Our home has turned out so beautifully! He gently pushed us outside our comfort/default zone in terms of color, lighting, and furnishings, and was able to realize our vision beyond what we even imagined possible. He was respectful of the budget and timeline, without ever sacrificing taste and quality, and I really appreciated his ability to find “wow” pieces for each room. James doesn’t just curate rooms, he created a flow and theme for the entire house while managing personalities, contractors, and all the logistics. He is not the first interior designer I have worked with, but he’ll probably be the last, because I can’t imagine vibing so well with anyone else.
