These guys are the best for bread in central Manchester. Loaves are consistent and quality always top notch. Great value.

The bread is pretty good but often a limited selection. Expensive. Plus my most recent sandwich was a complete disappointment. A flimsy Reuben sandwich with very little filling and more than £6 is frankly taking the mick. I’ve had good sandwiches from here before but will think twice before going there again.

When searching fot best sourdough in manchester this did not disappoint! The best you can get. The bakery is hidden away, and on first see it, there's no signs on shop front, but the bread on display is the giveaway. I absolutely would recommend any bread from this place, its delicious

I have tried many canelé in London, all were very good but what I could describe this one in Holy Grain Manchester was PERFECT! The exterior was crisp with a deep caramelized flavor, while the inside was soft, chewy, and perfectly moist. The balance of textures was just exquisite. It looks quite simple but after tasting it I could feel how dedicated the staff is making this high-quality canelé☺️ I will definitely come back for this, also want to try others🤤

Given the baffling lack of bakeries on this side of town; anywhere selling fresh bread would be a benefit. That the sourdough they bake is truly excellent makes this place a real gem, and along with great bread, they’re cool people who care about what they do. Couldn’t recommend it enough
