Honey Rock Books & Cafe is a treasure! I came to get some “me time,” and had the best experience. The chai is delicious and the books are fantastic! The owners and workers were all so kind.

What a cute adorable shop! Books, food and coffee in downtown gallatin sign me up! They have a used book to store credit. Book lovers and coffee lovers. Great date spot. The wait can be long but well worth it!

Stopped in here for the first time, last week. The layout makes good use of the space without it feeling cramped, and the atmosphere is very laid back, warm, and welcoming. I ordered the Cuban Sandwich (fantastic) and while I was waiting I perused their book offerings - I ended up finding a book I’ve had on my list for a while! Needless to say the selection of books is tasteful without being overwhelming. Overall, food was excellent, atmosphere was great, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll absolutely be visiting again soon!

This is everything a bookstore should be! The location in the square is the perfect cozy environment to grab a book and a coffee, meet friends or work in the upstairs meeting space. The staff was so friendly and they told me about all the things they are going to be doing for the community and I am beyond excited for all the things to come! Their cafe selection is also amazing. I had a tea latte that was recommended by the barista and it was fantastic. This will definitely be a place I visit often!

Gallatin’s newest bookstore and cafe has just opened in September 2025 on North Water Avenue. The book selection is growing each day. The cafe offers coffees, teas, pastries, and sandwiches. We ordered a cappuccino. We found a Taylor Jenkins Reid book and a children’s book illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser to add to my collections. The upstairs offers study tables, a restroom, and space for the book offerings to expand. The owners James and Stella greeted us warmly. Other employees were friendly and helpful.
