This was our first time at the restaurant, and we came here to celebrate our anniversary. Honestly, the meal was quite impressive. We started with the elotes (chargrilled corn), which was delicious, and for mains we had the chargrilled Black Angus scotch fillet and the wagyu scotch fillet. Both steaks were cooked perfectly to our order, medium rare. The customer service was absolutely professional, with a warm and welcoming attitude that made the night feel special. The only downside was that we booked on a very busy night, and there was a large group seated near us, which made it a bit noisy. Next time, we’ll definitely ask in advance for a quieter area. Other than that, everything was perfect. Can’t wait for our next visit — I’m really keen to try the Hoosegow signature chilli chicken!

Great service, amazing staff and the hostess with the most esteemed! Highly recommend the lamb chops, the sides were amazingly fresh and savory. I give them thumbs up for putting up with our excitement for their offerings! Thanks for the wonderful service and amazing tastes!

Wow. Wow. Wow. From the second we walked through the doors, til the moment we left, we felt so welcomed and looked after by the incredible staff. The food.. was absolutely next level!!! We highly recommend the chilli chicken and the beef ribs. Incredibly tasty food and fantastic serving sizes. What a gem of a place!!

So impressed with the food, service and hospitality at Hoosegow!! From the moment we walked in the staff were so lovely and welcoming. The food was amazing, delicious flavours and the steak was cooked to perfection. If you’re wanting to have a celebration come here, they take such good care of you. Definitely will be back.

Visited this place on a weekday night which my partner had randomly chosen and booked. I did not plan to eat at place like this and had my reservations about dining here considering the cost of the food. (Our overall bill was $400+) However, much to my pleasant surprise the food was absolutely fantastic. The signature chilli chicken was scrumptious and has a generous serving of chicken thighs. Service was delightful and the rest of our dining party was pleased with their meals. Lovely atmosphere and ambience too. Overall I’d recommend if you’re after a nice pricey dinner and have the money.
