We were in the downtown area and was looking for a breakfast restaurant. Found this place on Google maps. Was a quiet place, lots of empty parking spaces for the time we went there. Went in and was seated right away. Took our drink order was was told it would be a few minutes because she had to brew a fresh pot of decaf coffee which is fine with us. The menu has a lot of options for breakfast, so it took a lil bit to decide what we were going to have. Finally got our coffee and put our order in. Seemed like it took quite a while to get our order and the refills on the coffee took a long time to get. Tried to flag the server down several times. From where we were sitting we could see in the kitchen and our server and a couple other servers were standing in there talking and laughing with one of the cooks. Finally she got someone's order and stopped by to see if we needed refills and did return with a pot of decaf. My order was a biscuit in halfs with sausage gravy, 2 eggs and hashbrowns. I also ordered a side of sausage patties. The biscuit was very flat, almost looked like a pancake, a very small pancake. The sausage patties were very thin also. Flavor of the sausage was ok, have had much better at other restaurants. The hashbrowns was ordered crispy, because I don't care for potatoes that looks like they were just warmed on both sides and plated. Mine was perfect, crispy. Eggs were good, over medium. Whites were cooked firm and yokes were cooked but still runny. Two thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼 for eggs and hashbrowns two thumbs down 👎🏼 👎🏼 for the biscuits and gravy and the sausage. If in the downtown area again and wanting breakfast, I would try another place before coming back here.
Took my family to celebrate my mother’s birthday after looking for a breakfast place. This place popped up and the reviews were solid so I decided to give them a try. Great atmosphere, calm, quick service, friendly staff, great food, and the staff surprised my mother with a birthday treat and invited the customers to sing a birthday song. Great first experience and will definitely be coming again.
We weren’t sure what to expect trying this place, but the entire experience was very pleasant. Our waiter was Ben and he was very timely, friendly, and even spent some time chatting with us about Phoenix, and menu recommendations. We interacted with a few other ladies that were working there and they were super friendly and nice as well. Service was prompt but we were not rushed at all. We had several different omelettes, biscuits and gravy, smoky grits, and they were delicious. The home fried potatoes they serve are crispy… I think they may be fried in beef fat, but they were the best fried potatoes I’ve tasted in years. It looks like they have a really good variety for everyone, including for lunch. I can’t wait to go back and so glad we stopped in!
So glad we stumbled across this hidden gem! The restaurant was very clean, food was delicious and the service was excellent. I think it’s a family owned business - the staff were all so kind and super attentive. Definitely a cozy cute restaurant for breakfast or lunch if you’re in the area. A must visit for delicious home cooked vibes. Can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu! Tex Mex Skillet 10/10 🔥 Western omelette 10/10 Biscuit & sausage gravy seemed home made and sooo good! 10/10 🔥 Chicken fried steak 10/10
First time eating there and the food was really good and portions were more than enough. Specialty coffee was tasty. There was so much to choose from on the menu that I had a hard time deciding. I had the corn beef has skillet with a biscuit and mocha macchiato coffee. My husband had the veggie omelette with a pancake and mocha coffee. Everything was delicious! Service was great as well. We were greeted and seated quickly. I would definitely recommend and will be returning to try more from the menu.
