Enjoyed the open house with my girlfriends. It was great to see all the shops and purchase items from the various small businesses at one time. So much talent under one roof!

Hot Shops Art Center is an incredible space. Once you get inside it's huuuge and home to such much creativity. We signed up for a two person glass ornament class and it was amazing. Samuel was our instructor and walked us each through the process step by step. Will definitely be back to do more and cannot recommend highly enough to others!

I keep finding reasons to walk through the doors of Hot Shops. It isn't just a place where you can buy art; it's a living space where creation is simply happening all around you. You wander from studio to studio and it's like opening a series of short stories, each one told in glass, paint, or clay. What makes the visit real is the kindness of the artists. They are genuinely happy to talk about their process and their pieces, sharing the backstory if you take the time to listen. It’s that connection that gives the objects their weight. Drifting around is easy. The building itself is older but solid, with clean, ample facilities and an elevator for anyone who needs it. It’s always a good place to find something fresh, either for myself or as a sharp, unexpected gift.

I absolutely love the Hot Shops Art Center! They offer many different art classes and host various events. I found the best time to go is when there is an event unless you're attending a class. If you go outside of event hours some studios may be closed.

We took the Glassblowing Workshop for two! It was awesome!!! Very hands on! We chose what we made from a list of options and picked the colors and styles. We each made a blown glass ornament and then for the larger second pieces a wall plate and swung vase! Sam was incredible, explaining everything to us and prepping and coaching us throughout! He made us feel like we could do it ourselves (which we can't.) I could not recommend this class or Sam Logeman more highly!
