I lovely visit, and an arts & crafts fayre. The upstairs coffee shop was a wee bit disorganised, but coffee and cake were nice. Then the bus I was travelling in got stuck on the road out. Nothing to do directly with the House of an Art Lover. A football enthusiast parked badly on the one way out system and we couldn't get passed. We were stuck for over 2 hours. Lack of traffic wardens did add to the issue. That apart, it was a lovely visit to the House.

Beautiful example of Mackintosh’s craft. We visited for wedding venue inspiration and booked with no hesitation. Very much looking forward to the day when it comes!

I booked The View for my daughter’s 21st birthday celebrations and everyone had a great time. I had a very good experience all round from booking team (Kate) and on the event with Maria and the waiting team. Highly recommend this venue.

We went here for an afternoon tea in their Music Room and it was a fabulous experience. A little pricey but the space is truly magnificent. The food was nice and plenty of it, all while enjoying live music - a lady playing the harp. A lovely afternoon especially as the sun was shining and coming through the big windows!

From the moment we arrived, the experience was absolutely enchanting, not just because of the captivating magician but also thanks to the impeccable service and delicious vegetarian meal. The catering company truly outdid themselves. Each of the three vegetarian courses was a culinary delight, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. It's clear a lot of care went into crafting a menu that was both satisfying and flavorful, proving that vegetarian dining can be incredibly exciting. Every dish hit the mark, leaving us thoroughly impressed. Beyond the food, the welcome we received was incredibly warm and inviting. The team greeting everyone set a wonderful tone for the night. Their genuine smiles and helpfulness made us feel instantly comfortable and valued. Throughout the evening, the catering staff were attentive, efficient, and exceptionally friendly, ensuring drinks were topped up and every need was met without ever being intrusive. It felt like they genuinely wanted everyone to have a fantastic time, and that personal touch made all the difference. Combined with the dazzling magic show, which was a spectacle of wonder and skill, this was an evening of pure enjoyment. The seamless coordination between the entertainment and the outstanding catering truly made for a memorable event. If you're looking for an evening filled with great food, fantastic service, and a touch of magic, I highly recommend this experience! Also this was all for £45. Value for money. I would have paid £65 for this. Truly amazing! Ps thank you, Kate, for sorting out my Vegetarian request. 😊
