This is one of my favorite spas in Houston. I LOVE that I can easily spend all day here. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, Jose helped my back and shoulders sooo much. Was sore the next day, but that’s exactly how I want to feel after I pay for a massage. Work those muscles!!
I had reserved Trellis for my sisters bachelorette get together since it seemed like a nice high end spa we can treat ourselves to. We pre-booked a cabana and our spa services. When I had called to reserve they said that our cabana should be ready and set up around 1:30pm-2pm which we were excited about. However when we arrived and went outside, nothing was prepared. We even asked the gentleman attendant at the pool and he said he didn’t know that there was a reservation. It was a bit upsetting since we were hoping to get service and be able to dip ourselves in the pool sooner than later. It took about 45mins-1 hour to get our canned drinks and complimentary appetizer and everything squared away before we were able to fully enjoy ourselves. We booked for 4 hours and our spa services was going to be another hour so we really only had two hours to really relax and enjoy since we had to wait to get attended to. I didn’t feel as if it was worth the price at all since that was the expectation with the price point especially compared to the exceptional services at other places. But the massages and all of our other services were great afterwards and the ladies during that part were very welcoming and professional. At checkout though it didn’t feel as if they cared much about customer service when I brought up the situation and how we could proceed. I’m not sure if she was the manager but she definitely didn’t have the common decency to apologize or to converse so that was also a let down. Overall, customer service could’ve been improved especially since there was a 23% gratuity included.
*19 September 2025* Visiting from Atlanta. I enjoyed my first experience here. It's a beautiful, peaceful place. My friend booked a 100-minute massage for me, and boy did the time fly! Lol. Latoyia was my masseuse. She did a good job on my full body, except for my feet. Latoyia's foot massage was lackluster and weak, as I've had better elsewhere. The staff are attentive and ready to assist with whatever you need.
Overall: 4.3 (above average spa that stands out because of its amenities and price point, but could improve on cleanliness and provided toiletries) Cleanliness: 3.7 (there was a worn band-aid in the women’s hot tub) Service: 5/5 (staff were attentive and helpful at all times, other reviews are harsh, but I was treated kindly throughout. as for spa etiquette, it’s always good to tip your locker room attendant) Massage: 4/5 (my masseuse could use more training but was decent, not the worst but definitely not the best) Amenities: 4.7/5 (the pools, gender segregated hot tub and sauna which is Muslim hijabi friendly, locker rooms, free coffee/tea/cookies/nuts, ample water stations and towels, incredible soft robes and sandals provided were on point. The indoor and outdoor spaces were immaculate with beautiful trees to sit by or a warm fire place in a dim room to relax next to with your tea. I went on a Tuesday afternoon 3pm-close and only 1-2 others were sharing space with me at any given time. For the price point they should have better locker room amenities such as individually wrapped hair products, facial and body care, hair dryers, etc.) but overall it was fine.
I was in Houston for work and needed a place to spend the day on a day off. I booked a manicure and a massage. The facility is beautiful, spacious, clean, and relaxing. I took full advantage of the indoor and outdoor pool areas, the hot tub, and the tranquil patio. The staff was friendly. It did feel like they were a little understaffed but they were accommodating. My massage therapist was Christian and he did an amazing job focusing on issues with my upper back. It’s the best massage I’ve ever had. Esther did my manicure and she was very friendly and easy to talk to and did a beautiful job. The spa does a nice job to not overbook so you never felt overcrowded or like you had no where to go. My only complaint was that online they showed the option of a full lunch menu with salads and bowls. For some reason, they were only offering the group appetizers and drink menu on the day I went. With my plan being to spend the entirety of the day, I was a little panicked by the lack of food. So I ended up ordering a group chips and dip appetizer for just myself. It was fine but I would have loved a real entree of some sort being that I was there was 9am-4pm. Overall, I would go back for another spa day if in the area in the future.
