We had a very disappointing experience with this contractor. He came out to look at the project and told us we would receive a quote by a specific date. Once that date passed, we followed up multiple times and received no response. We were completely ghosted. This was a waste of our time and delayed our project unnecessarily. If communication and follow-through are important to you, I would recommend proceeding with caution.

We recently hired Alfonso and his company HPC to build our porch, and we could not be happier with the results. From start to finish, they went above and beyond expectations. Alfonso and his team were extremely professional, friendly, and responsive; always available to answer questions before, during, and even after the project was complete. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality really showed in every part of the work. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and the porch turned out even more beautiful than we imagined (we’ve had so many compliments already!). What stood out the most was how they treated us with genuine care and respect, making the whole process stress-free. On top of everything, their pricing was reasonable and competitive; we compared 4 other contractors, and HPC was well within range while still delivering top-tier service. Recently moved from Canada to Houston. Not knowing who to trust, searching for a reputable contractor for remodelling was time consuming . We contacted multiple contractors for quotes and to get a vibe with different contractors. Houston Prefered Contractor stood out as a company both wife and I decided to trust. From day one, they showed up right on time to view the job, the competitive quote was provided within 24 hrs as promised. They organized the crew together within 3 days of deposits and started the project. An email notification was provided each day of work schedule and crew arrival. The bathroom and bedroom remodeling took longer than expected, due to few complication along the way. During construction, anything that wasn’t satisfactory, they would correct it right away. Small request and changes was done without any addition charges. They don’t upsell nor ask for anything more during or when the job was completed. The agreed quote is the amount we paid! Very pleased with the service and already scheduled HPC for our next project.

Looking for dependable people to not only essentially give access to your home but do a job you are happy with for the money you are paying when it comes to home renovations is daunting. Alfonso was the first and most communicative of any other companies on Yelp and elsewhere who could give me a straightforward estimate as I embarked on my masterbath shower remodel. He and his team did such a stellar job that I later hired him to help with a remodel of my guest bath. It’s a big and messy undertaking but Alfonso and team did it in a timely manner and with great communication. They also left things in fantastic condition and took time to do things like laying down material to cover the flooring as they worked and moved throughout our home. Alfonso helped me to pick out the exact materials I wanted, advised me of the process, and was readily available to answer any questions or respond to anything I requested to be adjusted. I am a perfectionist by nature, and he has been so patient. The work speaks for itself if you see the pictures. The customer service he provides really sets these guys apart. I can’t recommend them enough. Their pricing is extremely fair, communication is great, and these guys work very hard. Thank you so much Alfonso and team!
