Have not been to HR Block in over 35 years. Through out the last 8 years my husband and I used turbo tax on line. My husband passed away recently so I was not 100 percent confident in the new tax laws . Dustin at the ray and rural office was AWESOME. He answered all my questions. Doug Emmerich has been the best tax advisor I have had. He cares about his clients, is knowledgeable, and his work is accurate. I do think though that the prices that H&R charges to file taxes is very steep. Even with the discount that Doug was kind enough to provide me with, I still think the fee should not be more than half of what I paid this year, especially since most of the information was already available from last year, and was simply copied over.
