We car camped here for $10 per person, and it’s worth it because you have the communal area (the barn) where you get to meet cool people and cook on a stove and just have a good rest from the sun/wind. We didn’t stay in the rooms, but I’d say they’re a little overpriced, but that building has an even nicer communal area. Location next to Hueco Tanks (5 minutes) is perfect. Had an AMAZING time.. the staff are the best.

We tent camped here for a couple of nights while climbing at Hueco Tanks. This campground is definitely setup for serious climbers, which we are not, but we found it quite accommodating regardless. The price is great and the camping area is open and quiet (unlike some of the other climber camping spots outside Hueco where you literally pitch your tent in the parking lot). The community barn has hot showers, open seating areas, and a kitchen for all to use. If you can’t get a spot inside Hueco or just don’t want to deal with it, this is a good alternative.

Perfect place to stay while climbing Hueco. Probably not worth the price if not an Alpine Club member, best deal by far across competitors (vcrux or Gleatherland) for tent camping if you are a member.

Hosts were nice and accommodating. Price for tent camping is high. The showers are plumbed backwards (cold is hot).
