A garden centre that diverges from traditional norms with unique plants and well-informed, helpful staff. I came here recently from a recommendation by a friend, and I was not disappointed. Having just moved into a new flat with my partner, and despite minimal horticultural knowledge, i was thrilled to walk out with two brand new Dracaenas (derived from the Ancient Greek for female dragon) and five succulents (various) to kit out our new place. The garden centre is easy to navigate, has clearly marked distinct areas and maintains a low-key, edgy feel with a cafe on site (I visited, but I did not purchase food or drink on this occasion). You could easily spend hours in there browsing plants. They have a great selection of seeds for esteemed seed lovers and those looking to get into growing their first plants, flowers and vegetables (pictured).
If you have a garden then you must come here to peruse the gorgeous plants! If you do not have a garden then YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST COME HERE to peruse the plants and maybe take home a wee houseplant, yes, but also to hear the birds sing, watch the squirrels, smell the earth, sit among trees, enjoy a cup of tea, maybe some soup and escape from the city for a bit! Plus everyone's nice and really helpful! They also sell gorgeous cards, locally made toiletries, books, incense, ornaments and many other lovely things!
A refreshing garden centre with a modern twist. The layout is easy to explore, the plant variety is impressive, and the staff are genuinely knowledgeable and approachable. I left with succulents, despite being a complete beginner. The place has a cool, relaxed vibe, plus a café if you want to take a break. Great for both seasoned gardeners and newcomers alike.
I WENT TO RESCUE SOME POTS Needed some pots replant my flowers and my friend recommended to come here. It's very gorgeous here. It's deceiving as it looks small, but once you go inside it just keeps going, and they have everything. Their cafés is really cute, will go there next time.
I love this place, very peaceful and chill. Staff are very friendly & they let you look around for as long as you need to, without interrupting. They are helpful, just ask. There is a little cafe too ( I'm yet to visit it). The shop is spacious & has lots of interesting stuff. They also have a 'pot rescue' where you can take old/ used pots home for free!! different sizes & all in good condition. Sending lots of love to the people who work here :) *You will also find 2 little cute cats hanging around, so adorable!
