I've practiced meditation in various formats over the years and I can heartily recommend Richard as a talented, kind, patient, hardworking and sincere meditation teacher. He is ideally suited for both beginners and those with experience. He has (what seems like) a million different ways to meditate, he is professional and reliable, and he is super patient. I was shocked that when I forgot a session he didn't charge me, and just gave me credit. Who does that? I doubt that he is in in for the money, but it is an incredible value as well! Richard has introduced me to new practices which have improved my focus and well-being.

Attending one of Richard Dewey’s meditation classes was a game-changer for me. As someone who's always been curious about meditation but found it a bit intimidating, Richard's class, available both in-person and online via Zoom, was the perfect fit. What I loved most was the affordability and flexibility of the classes, making it easy to fit into my hectic schedule. Richard's deep knowledge of various meditation techniques really shone through in the session. He has this amazing ability to make everyone, from complete beginners like me to more practiced meditators, feel at ease and fully engaged. His guidance was clear, insightful, and, more importantly, really practical. He didn't just teach us how to meditate; he showed us how to weave it into the fabric of our daily lives, which for me, was a total revelation. The class had a wonderful sense of community too. It didn't matter that we were all from different walks of life; Richard's warm and inclusive approach brought us together in a shared, peaceful experience. I left my session feeling more centered, calm, and ready to tackle the day ahead. I can't recommend Richard Dewey’s classes enough. If you're looking to dip your toes into meditation or deepen your practice, his sessions are a fantastic resource. Check out his offerings on the Humanist Meditation website - your future self will thank you!

Richard, Thank you for introducing me to Humanist Meditation and mindfulness. I had lived my life as if I were blind, not even knowing what a chaotic mind was like until you pointed to the experience of a calm mind. This opened my eyes (mind) and has changed my life in so many ways. I am not who I was prior to this experience. I am so grateful to you and your Meditation classes. Thank you. Mark Vernon

This is a nice meditation studio. Richard is a patient and knowledgeable teacher. His approach is based on proven benefits of meditation, and I like that I can learn and practice in a friendly space, without being expected to follow any particular belief system. BTW, he's currently offering free sessions on Saturday mornings, and you can find the signup for those on Meetup.
