We just started Huntington with about 20 hours in. When we came here, our 2nd grader was struggling with reading & writing. We were worried that we would have to hold her back to repeat 2nd grader. We still have several hours left but my daughter told me the other day “mommy, I feel like I can read now”. Seriously about made me tear up. I’m so glad we made the decision to sign her up and super excited to see how much more she learns.

My daughter was struggling with reading and math, but mostly confidence when presented with any new material at school. She would cry over doing school work and overall seemed to dread learning. Since starting with Huntington we have seen a drastic difference in her. She went from breaking down crying when trying to read pages from a book, to breezing through sentences page after page. The best feeling now is seeing her confident in her abilities, and not doubting that she’s capable. Enrolling her in Huntington’s program has been a great decision.

We signed our 10 year old (then 9) for a year of tutoring at Huntington and we are so glad we did! She was really struggling in math and reading comprehension and was scoring lower than she where she should be. Fast forward to her 5th grade year and we just received a postcard stating she will be receiving 3 awards for her academic achievement on her recent KSA test results! Her 5th grade year has been a breeze and we are so looking forward to her starting middle school knowing she has all the skills and tools to succeed!

Our 10 year old son started the tutoring program at Huntington at the start of his 5th grade year. He was testing at a 2nd and 3rd grade level in most areas. Due to the covid restrictions he and his peers missed so much just on the fundamentals of their education. With the out standing tutors and the program Huntington (Susan) put together for him. He was able to test at the fifth grade level at the end of his 5th grade year. Not only did he achieve the goal of catching up academically but his self confidence in the classroom is amazing. Thank you to the great staff at the Louisville Huntington location.

Our granddaughter has improved 2 grade levels since coming to Huntington the last 4 months. She has so much confidence in herself now. We are so proud of her and can’t thank Susan and her tudors at Huntington enough.

My son started with Huntington toward the end of 6th grade for struggles in math and reading. In May of this year his standardized test scores were rated “low achievement”, with math at the 20th percentile and reading at 11th percentile. He has almost completed his program and his standardized test scores just a few months later (in August) increased to 61st percentile for math and 47th for reading. I think that increase in scores speaks for itself! My son even suggested he continue going to Huntington at least once a week for enrichment and maintenance once his program there ends. I couldn’t be happier that we invested in his academic progress with Huntington!
