I had a broken expensive bar stool that the original company who gave a lifetime warranty on, wouldn't honor it. I called a Google ad looking for a good woodworker to repair. Idaho Custom Woodworks, Kevin and Joe, were such a blessing. They rushed and fixed it in one day for us to use for seating at Easter dinner! They are professional, knowledgeable and I am confident to now use them for all my refinishing and repairing of my maple furniture...and maybe even building new! They are a family run Idaho small business. Everyone who needs this service should check them out! Great people 👏.

I took my mother's carved elephant into Idaho custom woodwork fir repair. The elephant and her calf were brought back from my granddad to my mom when he was a merchant seaman. The big elephant had a big split in the wood along one side, and the little one's trunk was missing. They did a beautiful job of restoration and repair. I'm THRILLED I found them online! 100/10 recommend 👌

So glad we found Idaho Custom Woodwork. Decide soon if you want to get your project on their work list. This 15 year old Pottery Barn table was painted white, but Kevin and Joe stripped the paint down to discover a beautiful hickory veneer. They were very careful not to sand it too low and look at the beautiful result. Kevin will communicate and send photos during the process and we also used their pick up and delivery service, very helpful. Recommend highly and will use again. The next restoration is of this ‘primitive’ dresser, age unknown, but Kevin and Joe found square nails used in it. It is full of interesting imperfections which I asked them to keep but it was a total mess. I expected parts of it to splinter and fall apart but the worse parts are expertly repaired, the drawers even work and it is solid and strong. Just beautiful, sanded and natural finish. A favorite piece of furniture. Their attention and care is elevated and they love what they do. Don’t hesitate to entrust your furniture to Idaho Custom Woodwork.
