It was my first time doing it and I will never go back. My husband and I took our son and nephew to do the Floor is Lava. It started off cool, but then 10 minutes into our 30min session, the sun started shining directly from the front doors into our room. We couldn't see half of our screen, which is needed to complete the gameplay (please see the video). I spoke with an employee and he said they couldn't do anything about the light and for us to continue our game and he would talk to the manager about a resolution. Since we couldn't see where our avatar was on the game screen, we pretty much just stood there. I felt bad because the boys were so excited and it was a complete let down. Fast forward.. we speak to the shift manager, hoping to get a refund. Nope. Apparently, once the game starts, they can't issue any refunds.. doesn't matter what the circumstances are. As frustrating as that was, I was trying to be understanding.. so I requested to redo our game in the other room since it was empty. But they denied that too since someone else was checking in. I felt like we deserved priority considering the circumstance. Anyway, he ended up offering us game cards for the arcade and essentially said to take it or leave it because there wasn't anything else he could do. We paid over $70 and drove all the way over there for that specific experience, not to play in the arcade. We took the cards and left. Overall it was a waste of time and money.

Super disappointed we wasted $100 on this. We did the angry birds and temple coins. The angry birds was boring. Even the kids age 5 and 8 were disappointed. Half the time it didn’t pick up our 5 year old so it really wasn’t working for him. The Temple run was next and there were no instructions to tell you what the power ups would do. You’re just slowly walking around the whole time. The 5 year old just kept hitting the wall so he was upset he couldn’t do it. It was hot in the room. The hats get annoying on your head. VR headsets are better. Definitely will not be doing this again.
