This establishment really delivered. Ira is so professional and helped my daughter with a dress alteration that was not straightforward. It was also during the holidays so store hours were limited. However, online appointment scheduling was very convenient and easy to navigate. We needed a quick turnaround and everything came out beautifully. So grateful to have found Ira. Highly recommend!!!

Imperial Alterations is truly the best. I brought in two wedding gowns - an Oscar de la Renta and a Vera Wang - about a month before my wedding after I lost a lot of weight and neither dress fit. From the moment I walked in, they were incredibly professional, patient, and attentive. Ira and Ina really listened to what I wanted, took their time, and treated my gowns with so much care. Both dresses turned out absolutely perfect and fit me flawlessly. I was comfortable in my gowns all night, and I felt so confident on my wedding day. Ira, Ina and team are true experts, and I had such a wonderful experience. I recommend Imperial Alterations to anyone, and I’ll definitely be coming back for future alterations.

I had a great experience working with Ira at Imperial alterations! Ira helped alter three different dresses for my wedding weekend wardrobe and treated each piece with great attention to detail and precision. For my wedding dress, Ira was able to transform my a-line dress to a ballgown by adding custom tulle layers to the hips. She also hemmed the dress to the perfect length. She also did an excellent job of adding a bustle to my first dance dress, which was difficult due to the tiered layers. Lastly, she completely transformed a house of cb dress by altering the neckline to a cat eye and adding custom draping. I commuted all of the way from Manhattan for all of my appointments but it was well worth it! I did a few other consultations with other alterations places in the area but chose imperial based on Ira’s warmth, professionalism and excellent reviews. It was also very easy to schedule and change my appointments online and communicate with Ira via email. I highly recommend trusting Ira and her team with your wedding alterations!
