FYI: The review below was for the previous owner (Mike), I have not yet been back to the current owners shop. I have taken my Passat here several times and have always received good service and a fair price. The owner will even discuss DIY repairs if you want to make some of the repairs yourself. I don't mind doing most things that do not require special tools or are beyond my ability, and he is cool with that as a fellow enthusiast. I gave only 4 stars because I have not been there too often, and don't feel I can warrant this rating yet, but I am taking my car back this week and will update then. Definitely recommend!! Changed to 5-stars as this is the only place I take my VW for service and they have always done it right the first time for a fair price. Thanks guys. Update: I have been here a few times since my initial review and I think they rate a 5. Mike is very straight-forward and honest about all repairs, and I don't easily trust car repair people.
I had some work done on my Subaru about a week ago and I'm delighted with the results. Their communication was very good, customer service was very personal, and the price was very reasonable. I will absolutely be coming back for maintenance in the future!
I recently had a very disappointing experience at this repair shop. I felt that the repairs took an unexpectedly long time, and I was concerned about the transparency of the recommended services. In my opinion, the pricing for parts, particularly used parts, seemed significantly inflated compared to what I would anticipate. Based on my experience, I would personally recommend exploring options such as a certified Volkswagen dealership for service, as I believe it may offer more transparent pricing and a potentially more efficient repair process. Ultimately, my experience left me feeling that the service and pricing practices at this shop were not in line with my expectations.
I'm not a fan of Audi dealers and the team at Importmasters was able to help me avoid them entirely. I needed a newly installed steering module recalibrated which is typically a dealer only service but they were able to perform all the necessary steps to properly recalibrate my new module and get me on my way. I'll definitely go back!
Never again! For some reason they could not even put air in my tires after I asked them to in the dead of winter, and after having it ALL day. The service manager, Amy, insisted that they did put air in my tires, but when I told her that the light was still on and it always goes off once the tires are filled to specifications, the best she could do was to suggest that I come back FOR AIR. Again, after they had it ALL DAY??? Bye, Felicia.
