KC Detailing is hands-down the best detailing shop in Kansas City. I took my brand new 2026 Audi RS3 to Richard and his team for paint correction, PPF on the front and hood, and a full ceramic coating. The results were phenomenal. The finish is flawless, the gloss is incredible, and the car honestly looks better than it did when it was brand new. Richard is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain the process, options, and expectations up front. You can tell immediately that he and his team are true professionals who care deeply about the quality of their work. Every detail was handled with precision. I trust KC Detailing completely and won’t take my vehicles anywhere else. I’m already planning to sign up for their monthly maintenance detailing to keep everything looking perfect. If you’re looking for high-end, meticulous work and want your vehicle treated the right way, this is the place. Highly recommend.

Had my Cadillac XT4 in for paint correction and fireball Hera ceramic coating! You can see the gold metallic flake in the black paint which looks beautiful in the sunlight. The coating does an amazing job and easy in between washes. Windows coated as well and I’m LOVING it! Full front end ppf, with black ppf on my pillars! Best my car has ever looked.

Update - Sept 25, 2025 Richard was able to recoat the truck and verify everything looks ok. I just returned from a follow up wash to double check everything. I am please Richard was able to help get this resolved. I appreciate his time and effort in restoring the ceramic coating. I have changed this review to 5 stars. Thank you again Richard for getting this fixed. The last photo is the truck with a new coating. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The 3 year Revivify ceramic coating I had applied only lasted 1 year. The coating failed on the roof and hood. Very little of the coating exist on the sides. I notified KC Detailing of the issue earlier this year. They told me they would contact the manufacture of Revivify and get back to me on a fix. That was months ago. Every time I called to follow up they said they are still waiting to hear from the manufacture. I followed up many times with promises by KC Detailing they would call me right back. Well they never called. Use this company at your own risk. This coating cost me thousands and lasted less time than a Turtle Wax spray and seal. Here are some photos of my hood with water. There is no beading or sheeting. They have my number if they ever want to make this right.

Had a great experience at KC detailing. Richard and the team are very attentive and took great care when applying PPF to my truck. When I was in for a followup appointment I had some vandalism damages that Richard helped me get fixed the very same day as my appointment with them. Highly recommend considering this team for all of your detailing and PPF needs.

The Team at KC Detailing is superb. If all of the other satisfied customers who have went out of their way to leave positive reviews don't validate that statement for you, then please consider my anecdotal experience also. My first experience was with the Audi TTS. After discussing my goals, they suggested two-step paint correction for the black metallic paint to correct the swirls in the clear coat, ppf and ceramic, in addition to the 70% tint that I was already set on. I opted to save some cash and just do the correction and ceramic. Well in hindsight I should've taken their advice because I've since inherited lots of rock chips on the front bumper and hood areas that the ppf would have better prevented. The correction and ceramic certainly brought out a mirror-like finish in the paint overall and I get compliments everywhere I go. So with my next acquisition, the M Roadster, I went clay bar, full ppf, and ceramic, in addition to the 70% tint. Upon completion, it looks like a brand new car; it's hard to believe it's 25 years old! And I'm sure I'll be glad I sealed-in its well-preserved paint the way I did, thanks to KC Detailing and their immaculate attention to detail and expertise. If you aren't sure who to trust your prized possession to in the KC Area, I encourage you to sincerely consider KC Detailing and their team of experts. I'm confident that you'll drive away as satisfied as me.
